My son has just turned 19 months and he has already shown some signs that he is ready to start his potty training. When I had his older siblings, I only began training them at the age of 24 months and 26 months, so when my youngest child started to show the signs at an earlier age, I was not very surprised, as my relatives told me that, younger siblings tend to learn things at an earlier age. My 19-month-old son has shown signs about a week ago and he is no longer using his diapers these days. My husband wanted to buy some potty training books at the bookstore but I told him that we would save tons of money by searching for some effective tips on the Internet. We did not want to use the normal ways of potty training because our youngest child does not seem to pay too much attention to boring methods.
